Azimuth Corporation is a government and military contractor headquartered in Dayton, OH and Washington D.C., whose efforts have touched nearly all parts of our defense. Having celebrated four consecutive years on Inc. 500’s list of fastest growing companies, new CEO, Valerie Rossi, recognized the need to develop a world class brand and creative marketing strategy. Within just a few months all collateral materials, website, trade show elements, and signage were transitioned to the new brand standards.

After meeting with the Azimuth team, we quickly realized that they had gone from a big fish swimming in a smaller pool, to a small fish swimming with sharks. They quickly recognized a need to develop a fresh and modern identity to be competitive with the likes of Lockheed Martin and Ball. The “azimuth” itself instantly provided inspiration with its use of circles and lines to measure the earth’s curvature. Not only did this inspiration lead to the final logo concept but it also lead to their tagline “No Matter What’s On The Horizon,” signifying the company’s exceptional growth and impressive dedication to solving the security and defense initiatives of tomorrow’s military.

Proud of their new logo and brand identity, Azimuth made a formal announcement with this brand reveal video that both offers a brief look at who Azimuth is as well as the concept behind the logo itself.
WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
In an industry that frequently “plays it safe,” Azimuth really wanted a look that made them stand apart from the usual blue, gray, and saturated photography used by a large swath of their competition. Red, white, and black with high contrast black and white photography immediately informs users that this company is different but solid and strong. Additionally we developed an intranet for Azimuth which acts as a hub for employees to access a number of tools and forms.
