Air Camp is a week-long immersive flight experience for middle school students and educators that not only teaches them the STEM principles behind flight, but actually gets them in the cockpit to fly their very own plane. With their sights set on growth they knew they needed to increase the number of applicants to demonstrate need to donors. Catapult worked with Air Camp on a new website and nation-wide digital marketing campaign that they have added three new camp sessions during the summer, and are starting a new Air Camp aimed at adults.

“Above All, It’s Fun.” It’s a simple and playful campaign concept for a camp that really pushes its STEM learning opportunities to parents. We understood quickly that once parents get a feel for what Air Camp is then it really sells itself. We highlight camp experience photography and video into nearly every bit of marketing and advertising that goes out. We simplified the logo for all B to C communications and developed a friendly but modern graphics system to ensure a consistent brand image.

Almost all Air Camp sign-ups happen on their website, so it was essential that our website was easy to use, stable and secure, and that our forms and email correspondence with customers was streamlined and unintimidating. Through our website analytics we’ve been able to further refine the application process for campers over the past several years to increase the numbers of people that complete the form, increasing sign-ups overall.
